Our story

Built for people who are tired of guessing

Opportunity information is often scattered across social media, forwarded messages and outdated blog posts. It is hard to tell what is current, what is official and what is a scam. Opportunity Rwanda was created to fix that.

We collect opportunities from official sources, write clear summaries, link directly to the organisation's application page and show deadlines honestly — including when an opportunity has expired. Our goal is simple: help you spend less time filtering noise and more time preparing a strong application.

We are an information platform, not an agent. We do not submit applications on your behalf and we do not charge applicants.

What we do

  • Curate. We collect opportunities from official organisations and programmes.
  • Verify. We check the source, application link, deadline and key requirements.
  • Explain. We write original summaries in plain language.
  • Notify. We send short alerts about new and closing opportunities.
Our process

How we verify opportunities

No listing is published just because it exists somewhere online.

1

Find the official source

We start with the funder, employer, university or programme website — not a forwarded message.

2

Confirm the key facts

We check eligibility, deadline, study level and the official application link.

3

Write an original summary

An editor explains the opportunity clearly, without inventing missing details.

4

Review and publish

A second check happens before publication. Expired listings are marked or removed from browse.

Our values

Accuracy, transparency and respect for your time

We would rather say “deadline not confirmed” than invent a date. We would rather show an expired notice than leave a dead opportunity looking active. And we would rather link to the official page than ask you to trust a summary.

Read our editorial policy and corrections policy to see the standards we hold ourselves to.
