1. Our commitment
We aim to be accurate, but organisations change deadlines, links and requirements, and mistakes can happen. When we get something wrong, we want to know and we will correct it. Corrections are not something to hide — they are part of maintaining trust.
2. How to report an error
Use the contact form and choose “Correction request”, or email theyoungchampion11@gmail.com. Include the page URL in the message.
3. What to include
- The URL of the opportunity or page you are reporting.
- The specific detail that is wrong (deadline, eligibility, link, title, organisation, etc.).
- The correct information and a link to the official source that supports it.
- Your relationship to the opportunity, if any (for example, you work for the organisation).
We may ask for clarification if the official source is unclear or unavailable.
4. Timelines
- Broken application link, security concern or clearly false opportunity: reviewed as a priority, usually within 1–2 working days.
- Deadline, eligibility or factual errors: reviewed within 3–5 working days.
- Complex requests requiring confirmation from the organisation: we will acknowledge the request and explain the expected timeline.
5. How we correct
- We verify the correction against an official source before changing the listing.
- We update the page and its “last verified” date where applicable.
- If an opportunity is no longer valid, we mark it expired or unpublish it.
- If a link is wrong, we replace it with the official link or remove the apply button.
- Significant corrections are recorded in the article revision history.
6. Disclosure of corrections
For substantive corrections, we may add a short note to the page stating what changed and when. Minor fixes such as spelling or formatting may be made without a note. We do not silently change the meaning of a listing to avoid accountability.
7. Removal requests
Organisations may ask us to update or remove a listing. We will verify the request comes from an authorised representative. We may remove an opportunity that is withdrawn, fraudulent or no longer accepting applications. We may keep an expired page for historical reference unless removal is requested for a valid reason.
